CHEMICAL NAME: ¦Â-([l,l'-biphenyl]-4-yloxy)-¦Á-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-
1-ethanol (CAS 9CI).
CAS NO.: 55179-31-2
CLASS: Triazole.
PROPERTIES: Colorless crystals; mixture of two diastereoisomeric enantiomer pairs (A.B). Vapor pressure A: 0.22 nPa, B: 2.5 nPa, at 20¡ãC. Stable under normal storage conditions. Insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. Very slightly soluble in isopropanol, toluene, methylene chloride, and cyclohexanone.
ACTION: Fungicide.
USE: Baycor* controls Venturia scab diseases on pome fruit; Monilinia on stone fruit; rusts and powdery mildews on ornamentals; black spot on roses; Sigatoka on bananas; leaf spot and other diseases on vegetables and peanuts. Sibutol* as seed dressing for smuts, bunts, and seedborne snow mold of wheat and rye.
FORMULATIONS: Aerosol, emulsifiable concentrate, flowable, paste, wettable powder.
